What an awesome weekend we just had here in Perth! After a very gloomy winter, my wonderful city turned on two glorious days of beautiful sunshine tempered by light breezes. I think I got more Vitamin D into me over these last two days than I did for the whole of winter!
And to round off a great weekend, I have nearly finished getting my home office/study organised.
Back in the day when Swish Design was just me, I sub-letted a little single office space. When it came time to design the house we are living in now, I measured up my office at work and told the draftsman I wanted a study the same size in my new house. I am not even sure why, because I never had any real intentions to work from home.
But right now I am working from home every day so what a good move that has turned out to be! On the weekend hubby surprised me by agreeing that I could banish his (very un-used) desk and all the paraphernalia on it from the room. All of the sudden, there is all this beautiful SPACE to play with and I am so excited by the roominess and the wonderful natural light! I just need one quick visit to IKEA this afternoon to purchase the final pieces of the puzzle and hopefully by Friday I can give you all the grand tour
In the mean time though, for your viewing pleasure today, check out some other people’s beautiful workspaces – courtesy of Pinterest!

I like this for the fact that everything is very neatly stored away - I like neat! {img http://pinterest.com/pin/184682880/}

I also quite like the simplicity and stylishness of this colour scheme, although I would HAVE to brighten it up with something! {img http://pinterest.com/pin/184681782/}
